Didar Uçar is a Turkısh artist based in Bodrum. She graduated from the Fine Arts Education Faculty and then started her carreer as a teacher. She established her studio in 2019, where by soon after she specialised in the use of clay.
Her products are inspired by ancient city ruins, primitive structures as well as natural textures found within nature. Pre historic elements bequeathed by humanity throughout previous civilisations are also evident within her art. Indeed, her own expression of originality can be seen by the way she manages intertwine both primitive and modern techniques.
"I like the idea of creating textures with mud, moving them into different forms and portraying this expression to other people and other places."
Such works come up with reflections of the rich art culture within our lands, where many civilizations have lived from the past to the present. These are not only unique but are also produced by handcrafted workmanship.
Didar continues to combine her source of inspirationand personal originality by carrying out her mission to provide handmade works.
